Complimentary pass for NextGen Omics, Tech & Data Europe 2026 (Basel)

1. Organiser
1.1 This prize game (“Game”) is organised by Labena d.o.o., Verovškova ulica 64, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, company number 5699479000 (“Labena”, “we”, “us”).
1.2 For any questions about the Game, contact us at enquiries@labena.si.
1.3 The Game is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with LinkedIn or any other social network on which it is published. Entrants release these platforms from any liability in connection with the Game.
1.4 The Game is also not organised by Oxford Global Marketing Limited, the organiser of NextGen Omics, Tech & Data Europe 2026. The passes are made available by Labena as an event sponsor.
2. Participation period
2.1 Entries are accepted from September 23rd, 2026, until September 30th, 2026, (“Entry Period”). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Game is open to natural persons aged 18 or over who are professionally active in research, biotech, pharma or a related field.
3.2 Employees of Labena d.o.o. and its affiliated companies, and their immediate family members, may not participate.
3.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their participation and acceptance of the prize is permitted by their employer or institution and by any applicable internal or industry compliance rules.
3.4 Participation is free of charge and is not conditional on any purchase of Labena products or services.
4. How to enter
4.1 To enter, an entrant must, within the Entry Period: answer the questionnaire using the following link: https://forms.gle/UoGKJGZjxbUmGovh9.
4.2 Only one entry per person will be counted. Entries submitted through any other channel will not be accepted.
4.3 Entries that are unlawful, offensive, misleading, or that infringe the rights of third parties will be excluded.
5. Prize
5.1 The prize consists of 5 complimentary delegate pass(es) to NextGen Omics, Tech & Data Europe 2026, taking place on October 13-14th, 2026, in Basel, Switzerland (“Prize”). Five winners will each receive 1 (one) pass.
5.2 The Prize covers the delegate pass only. Travel, accommodation, meals not provided at the event, insurance, visa costs and any other expenses are not included and are borne by the winner.
5.3 The Prize is personal, non-transferable, may not be resold or exchanged for cash or any other benefit, and may not be passed on to another person without our prior written consent.
5.4 The Prize is subject to the event organiser’s registration process, terms and conditions and acceptance of the winner’s registration. If the organiser does not confirm the winner’s registration for any reason, we may award the Prize to another entrant or withdraw it, without any liability towards the winner.
5.5 Labena is not the organiser of the event and is not responsible for its content, programme, changes, postponement or cancellation.
6. Selection and notification of the winner
6.1 The winner(s) will be selected on October 1st, 2026, by Labena evaluating the entries against the criteria stated in the Game post.
6.2 The winner will be notified via email within 2 working days of the selection.
6.3 The winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize and provide the details required for event registration ([name, surname, email, institution, job title]) within 3 working days of notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, the Prize may be awarded to another entrant.
6.4 The decision on the winner is final and no appeal is possible.
7. Taxes
7.1 Any taxes or duties arising from the receipt of the Prize under the winner’s national legislation are the responsibility of the winner. Where Slovenian legislation requires Labena to report or withhold tax on the value of the Prize, the winner will provide the data necessary for us to do so.
8. Personal data
8.1 Labena d.o.o. is the controller of personal data processed in connection with the Game.
8.2 We process the entrant’s name, surname, LinkedIn profile data submitted through the entry, and, for the winner, the contact and registration data listed in clause 6.3. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the Game and, for the winner, the performance of the Prize award.
8.3 The winner’s registration data will be shared with Oxford Global Marketing Limited for the sole purpose of registering the winner for the event. The organiser acts as an independent controller of that data.
8.4 Entry data is kept for 3 after the end of the Game and then deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
8.5 By entering, the winner agrees that Labena may publish their name, surname and institution, and refer to their LinkedIn profile, in the announcement of the results on Labena’s social media channels and website.
8.6 Entrants have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. 9. Exclusion and changes
9.1 We may exclude any entrant who breaches these Terms, uses fake or multiple accounts, manipulates the entry mechanism, or acts in a way that could damage the reputation of the Game, Labena, the event organiser or other entrants.
9.2 We may amend, suspend, shorten or cancel the Game at any time for justified reasons, including technical problems, force majeure, or withdrawal of the passes by the event organiser. Changes take effect upon publication at https://cro.labenagroup.com/terms-and-conditions/.
10. Liability
10.1 The Prize is provided “as is”. Labena gives no warranties in connection with the Prize or the event.
10.2 Labena is not liable for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received due to technical faults of the social media platform or internet connection.
10.3 Labena is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage arising from participation in the Game or use of the Prize, except where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
11. Applicable law
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. The courts of Ljubljana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
